So its the first day of February. I'm relieved. January, in my opinion, is a bit of an endurance test. (There's only so much marmalade you can make) We've been holding our breath this year hoping the snow wouldn't reach us and we would be warm enough without any proper heating. We are thanking our lucky stars that its been so mild. Spring could only be a few weeks away.....
